I investigated about history.

It is said in the world that the first detective story is "the homicide of a morgue town" which Edgar Allan Poe announced, and various works have been produced since the announcement of this work.

However, before this work is announced many talks of being regarded as a detective story exist. For example Charles John Huffam Dickens "" And see mingly, there is no settled history.

It can say certainly hears that the new feeling to a crime was produced, when police system was ready in Britain in the 1830s.

To establishment of a genre called a detective story, existence of a police organization was large.
In Britain where urbanization progresses quickly, there is also the historical fact that the average citizen's anxiety over a city dark space was increasing in the back side where the hero of a new form who arrests an offender in a hand was born in law.

Next, it investigated about "Knox's Ten Commandments" as which the rule at the time of writing a detective story is described.

"Knox's Ten Commandments" is a rule at the time of writing the detective story which Ronald Knox announced.

Although it is a famous rule and has been a basic indicator to those who are initiated into a detective story along with Van Dine's 20 rules, many works which broke this Ten Commandments intentionally also exist.
In Japan, Rampo Edogawa is introducing in a "vision castle."

1.The criminal has to appear at the beginning of a tale.
2.Don't use supernature capability for the detective method.
3.Two secret secret passage and passages or more must not be       located in the scene of the crime.

But various mystery novel writer broken this rule. Why? I think 
change day more and more influence on mystery novels. So I can understand this tendency.
 
I was surprised that knew this rule, and I think that myatery novels writer is sharp. Because they can make many stories. And they saved this rule, It is very difficult thing. My attension is engaged by another genre book. If I have had chance, I will examine another genre book.
